This course focuses on lightweight construction. Because of the need to reduce energy consumption, construction is becoming lighter and the market has a steadily growing demand for weight reduction in automotive construction. Design requirements are continually growing: engineers have to make more and better calculations and run more simulations to produce reliable predictions of payload and durability.
