Internship CeraCarbon/Ceradure

My first internship I took at a company named CeraCarbon/Ceradure. I found this company in the newspaper where they were being renowned for their new futuristic wear resistant materials. I contacted them for a job application and got the chance to apply for an internship several days later.

For half a year I worked at CeraCarbon and Ceradure at research and development for their sprockets and front suspension. I designed most of the current sprockets available for purchase. The design process was done mainly with CAD programs such as SolidWorks and Siemens NX. De sprockets are digitally calculated in multiple simulator systems to ensure the perfect balance between Stiffness and Lightweight. Besides the engineering work I mostly did during my internship I also had to design the exhibitions and company paperwork working with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

After I finished my internship I got a job at the firm as main sprocket engineer/designer and I'm currently still employed.
